The blog really helped our writing because of many reasons. One reason was that we could see how other people did the same stuff that we did. We could also share our work easily with each-other. We could also see how people think we should make it better. And that works both ways because we could tell them how to make their blog better. One thing that made it more fun and kept us interested was the widgets. But one blog had a widget blocking the comment area. I liked how It wasn’t just the people in the classroom and we could see blogs from australia. The blogging challenge was a nice addition but It is just that, an Addition. If you wanted to use the blogs next year you would need more than the challenge to make it worth it. I think it would be better for the younger students.
I am interviewing Colum.
What were your first impressions of this blog?
– “Creative. Interesting. Needs more widgets”
What captured your attention?
– “Your gods quiz and your photoshop post”
What distracted you on the blog?
– “Nothing really except for … nothing”
What suggestions could you give me to make my blog better?
– “More widgets. Separate page for Quiz”
In the Week 9 Challenge we visited different blogs. A lot of them were really good. One example is Colum’s blog. He has the links and everything else. It took time because there were a lot of dead ends. One I tried to leave a comment on had widget blocking the post button. I really liked seeing more blogs and it was really interesting.
In the Week 7 challenge they want us to talk about fun. So I am talking about photoshop
You can do anything with photoshop.

In the Week 6 blog challenge they told us to write about what we want to d when we grow up.
When I grow up I want to be an NFL quarterback or a computer designer like Bill Gates or Steve Jobs. Or I could go into Physics.
My first choice is a computer designer. If I can I want to go to M.I.T. or Cal Tech. I have some ideas for some really useful new innovations for computers. I understand it will take a lot of time and work but I can do that.
My second choice is going into Physics. That would be really nice because I could figure out new things about the universe and the world. I could go to a lot of places for that. That will take a lot of time and training.
My third choice is an NFL quarterback. I could play my favorite sport all the time. I would also get to travel the country. But if I did that I would need to have a backup job incase I get injured. Also because they have short carriers.
In the Week 4 Challenge we are addressing some global problems in the world. My teacher told me about water needs in Africa so I went and checked it out. It turns out that there are many people in Africa without clean water or any water at all. As Water For Children In Africa explains, “30,000 kids die each year from contaminated water”. 85% or diseases in kids originates from contaminated water. One of many organizations for this cause is Water For Children In Africa. They teach Africans to get the water they need, then teach them what water is safe. So they don’t just give them water that can run out, they teach them how to get their own water. You can help by volunteering or donate some money for drills, wells, and other tools and materials. What will you do?
I am a major football player. I play every day in season and in the offseason. I play QB and practice 3 hours every saturday. I really enjoy football because there is a position for everyone. My favorite team is the Pittsburgh Steelers and I have been told I play like Ben Roethlisburger. I love to play football and want to play in High-school and Collage, Maybe Pro if I get in. What sport do you play?
Hebrews In History we have been learning about ancient hebrews and one of our assignments was to write a song.
In Los Angeles you can get anything. You can go to the beach and get that tropical feeling with palm-trees and soft sand next to the almost never ending ocean. But if you take a drive you can go to downtown and get the city feel with the sunshine. You have a USC and UCLA rivalry all around you, its like it is branded into people which one they support. We have no NFL teams but we have the clippers and lakers in the NBA. For NHL we have the Kings. It has sunshine and not a lot of cold weather, Perfect for all sports. But if you go to the mountains you can get some snow for skiing and snowboarding. There is no other city in the world quite like LA.
Where do you live?
I am from turf fields and cleats. I am from the new Xbox and Apple. I am from looking on my wall and seeing black and yellow steelers flags and banners. I am from the dark wood dinner table talking with my family. I am from the desk where you could find anything. I am from tv on the family couch until ten. I am from wide shoes and almost giving up on combs and brushes. I am from the transition from paper to iPads. I am from trying to teach my dad Xbox. I am from Super Bowl 43. I am from Russia and Iowa meeting in California. I am from famous music. I am from a lazer builder who went to yale. I am from the Pacific and Atlantic ocean.
